Duo Blank Disc was founded by Srdjan Muc (*1965, guitar) and Robert Roža (*1972, electronics) in Serbia in 1997 and focuses on free improvisation and electronic and electro-acoustic experimental music. They have played numerous festivals and collaborated with numerous musicians and artists, including Keith Rowe and Zoran Mirković. Since 2005, they have been working with Georg Wissel (saxophone) as Blank Disc Trio or with Andrej Gigic (saxophone) and Milan Aleksić (piano) as Blank Disc Quartet.
Irena Tomažin and Tomaž Grom are two leading representatives of the highly active experimental music scene in Slovenia. Both of them regularly work with other musicians, such as Michel Doneda, Seijiro Murayama, Christian Kesten and Okkyung Lee. Irena Tomažin (vocals) is a dancer and performer. She has been involved in various dance and theatre projects and celebrated her debut as a solo dancer in ‹Hitchcock's Metamorphoses› in 2001. In 2005, she began to work more intensively with her voice. Tomaž Grom (double bass) is a musician and composer. He is interested in developing new ways to play the double bass and combining it with electronic music.
Luka Zagoričnik is a Slovenian music writer and producer of the L'innomable label. He worked as a music editor for ‹Radio Študent› in Ljubljana for many years and is seen as an expert in the field of Slovenian and international experimental music.
