Writers from the Balkans or writers with an affinity to the Balkans read their own stories from the comfort of an armchair.
A stage, a chair, a reading lamp, a table, a glass of water - and authors who present their literary work to an interested audience. Since 2008, the literature platform ‹Lesesessel› at ONO has been the stage for writers to showcase new, sometimes experimental texts of all genres to an expectant audience. The readings are followed by thought-provoking discussions between the writers and the listeners. As a meeting point for unknown and well-known authors, this innovative platform has become a key event in the Berne literary calendar. Literary award from the Canton of Berne 2012.
