Josipa Lisac already demonstrated exceptional musical talent as a child. At the age of 10, she joined the choir of Croatia's national broadcaster, where she also received her extensive vocal training as a singer. Her interest in rock music soon became apparent. In 1967, she joined a band called ‹O ́Hara› before becoming the lead singer of ‹Zlatni Akordi›. The artist is famous for her experimental use of other genres and her wide-ranging concerts. She is not a woman to shy away from a challenge, combining her extensive experience in her outstanding music. She has a way of expressing her diversity through her music and acting. The uniqueness of her voice, her desire and passion make Josipa Lisac an exceptional artist.
BALKANEKSPRESS will subsequently hold an after party at Kaufleuten featuring the DJ collective ‹TETKINE RADOSTI› - DJs Bakto, Borka and Woo-D, three young men from Ljubljana, Slovenia. For their latest project ‹Tetkine radosti›, which roughly translates as ‹Auntie's Delight›, the HipHop DJs, renowned in their homeland for having unearthed the records of their parents from the 1960s and 70s, have created a soul, funk and disco mix from the former Yugoslavia.
