The first annual conference of swissfestivals - the consortium of Swiss culture festivals - will be held in Basel on 24 October 2012. swissfestivals wishes to use its annual conference to present and publicise the results of its activities. Furthermore, the conference offers the opportunity to discuss current topics and festival challenges with one another and with external experts. It should also help to promote festival networking and cooperation with partner organisations.

Speakers include:
