The Icelandic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Máni Orrason's (*1997) pronounced sensitivity and musical talent became recognisable very early on. His voice is arresting, and his songs both beautiful and sad. Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Neil Young are among his greatest influences and inspirations. At just 17, Máni can already boast remarkable achievements: in October 2014 his debut-single made it to number one in the Icelandic charts. Shortly after, he was nominated for ‹Newcomer of the Year› as well as ‹Video of the Year› at the ‹Icelandic Listeners Awards 2015›. In their review of this year's Secret Solstice Festival the Huffington Post described the young musician as a «soulful delight».
