For over 20 years, G. Antonia Jendreyko and H.-Dieter Jendreyko have been reading the works of poets each winter half-year – accompanied by extracts from letters and biographies. In 2019, the focus is on the Polish poet Wisława Szymborska (1923-2012). After winning the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1996, the interest surrounding the award thrust her into the public eye. But she decided to step out of the limelight: «For me, poems are surrounded by a sphere of silence».
