The «Die Welt lesen» book club in Basel takes a literary trip around the world: each month the members choose a book from a different country and exchange their thoughts on it. In October, the literary destination is Poland. In her book «Rückkehr nach Polen» (Return to Poland), the German-Polish author Emilia Smechowski describes a torn nation.
The book club is hosted by the cultural scientist Lydia Zimmer. You will receive additional material and questions to help discuss the book.
