The Polish-British artist and choreographer Alex Baczynski-Jenkins works at the crossroads between performance art and dance. He develops vocabularies, ranging from micro-gestures and poems to choreography and minimal stage sets, in order to trace queer desires, affects and love. His practice is specifically concerned with the bonds between affection, distraction, lust and loss, while touching upon alienation and collectivity. The 2018 Frieze Art Award winner will be undertaking various performances at Kunsthalle Basel during special opening hours.

As part of the exhibition «Alex Baczynski-Jenkins».
