Cancelled: Agata Maszkiewicz «same same and different»

The title of the work is a reference to a Thai-English answer, for example to the question: Is that a real ...? – «Yes, sir, same same, but different».

We regret to inform that this showing had to be cancelled due to various reasons and thank you for your understanding.

In this lecture performance, choreographer, performer and dancer Agata Maszkiewicz uses videos and short presentations to provide insights into her oeuvre and her latest work. The title of the work is a reference to a Thai-English answer, for example to the question: Is that a real ...? – «Yes, sir, same same, but different». Together with two other performers, Olivier Normand and Vincent Tirmarche, the choreographer, performer and dancer Agata Maszkiewicz dedicates this lecture performance to the Greek Argonaut saga «same same and different». Gradually all possible elements of the performance – lighting, music, body, dance and text – are replaced. This principle offers possibilities to play with different genres, aesthetics, movements, music styles and art forms and to bring them together in one and the same piece. This results in surprising combinations which challenge taste, thinking patterns and sensory perception.
